5 Best Pants for Women with Big Butts
Let’s face it, women with big butts like me have a harder time finding clothes that fit off-the-rack than our straight shaped friends. Sometimes, I feel like nobody makes pants that fit my butt.
Buying pants that fit your big behind off-the-rack is hard, but don’t feel bad: it’s not your fault!
So many curvy women think that they have weird body shapes and that brands make pants for “normal people”.
This simply isn’t true. Nobody has an average body shape. The sad truth is everybody has trouble finding pants because big box store brands make clothes to fit their average customer. This leaves women with big butts high and dry because
There is no way of knowing if a brand’s average shopper has a butt like yours without trying their clothes on
With over one hundred thousand worldwide clothing brands, there are simply too many pants to try on
Most pants are not made for shoppers with big booties because most shoppers don’t have big booties!
I cannot count the number of times I have been told to “size up” when shopping to buy jeans that fit my big butt. The trouble is: I have a small waist, and anytime I size up, my waistband gaps! I have also been told to buy high rise pants because they have more space for my butt. If you need extra space for your rear, you know that this just pulls your pants down below where they are supposed to be.
Finding jeans that fit your butt should be simple: buy pants that have a bigger butt. It turns out, it is (almost) that simple. There are two ways to buy pants for big butts:
Buy pants that have more space around the rear. This “fix” is pretty straightforward: if the pants have more space in the butt and come in your waist size, your butt with fit.
Buy pants that are very stretchy. If the pants can stretch to accommodate any shape, then it doesn’t matter how big the pants butt is.
It’s better to buy pants that have more space instead of going for as much stretch as possible (your pants will last a lot longer). The problem is: how are you supposed to know who makes pants like this?
I know what you must be thinking: this is the point where I give you a list of “the best” pants to buy for girls with big butts. That part is right, but I know what else you’re thinking: how do I know that these are the right picks for me?

1. Levi's Classic Straight
About the Pant
The classic straight is one of the few women's jeans Levi's makes that is truly a straight cut, regular fit jean. The classic straight jeans have plenty of room throughout the leg, including the thigh, and a little extra room around the hips to round out the style. No matter if you're curvy or straight shaped, a pair of classic straight jeans will create a narrow, straight silhouette on your body.
